Visa Requirements for Kuwaiti Citizens

Kuwait visa requirements are the rules and regulations applicable to Kuwaiti nationals that determine the documents travelers need when traveling abroad.
 
Each country has its own rules and regulations that determine which foreign countries you must apply for a regular visa, which countries you can enter with an electronic visa or visa on arrival, and which countries you can enter without a visa. Kuwaiti passport holders can visit 32 countries with an e-visa obtained online a few days before departure, 41 countries with a visa obtained on arrival, 47 countries without a visa of any kind, and 90 countries.
You will need to apply for a regular visa issued by the embassy.
Electronic visas, VoAs, and visa-free entry are generally granted for short-term stays abroad (usually up to 90 days) and for all leisure, business, and transit travel.
Embassy-issued visas are more difficult to obtain, but may be issued for long-term stays.

Electronic visa

An e-visa or e-visa is a type of visa or travel authorization document issued by a foreign government after a traveler completes an online application process.
Approved e-visas are delivered to each applicant by email in PDF format and, in some cases, directly linked to the traveler's passport number.

32 countries offer Kuwaiti nationals the opportunity to apply for a visa online in the form of an e-visa.
Kuwaiti passport holders just need to follow a few simple steps to obtain an e-visa for any of the above countries:
  1. Apply Online – choose your preferred eVisa type and complete the online application form with the required data.
  2. Cover the eVisa issuing fee – use any method of online payment to cover the eVisa issuing fee.
  3. Wait for the confirmation email – submitting the online form and covering the issuing fee results in a confirmation email being delivered to each traveler via email.
Approved e-visas are also delivered to each traveler by email in PDF format, which can be easily downloaded and printed before departure.
 
Typical processing time for e-visas is 72 hours.
The approved document will be in different formats depending on the type of e-visa selected (his single-entry or multiple-entry travel permit issued for different lengths of stay).

41 countries allow Kuwaiti nationals to obtain a visa on arrival after completing the application process at one of their border crossing points.
Kuwaiti nationals wishing to obtain a VoA for her from any of the above countries should check and prepare the necessary documents before departure.

Ninety countries require Kuwaiti passport holders to apply for an embassy-issued visa before departure. To obtain an embassy-issued visa when traveling from Kuwait, travelers must first visit the embassy or consulate of the country they wish to visit in Kuwait and ask the embassy staff for a detailed list of required documents.

Visa-free travel is as easy as traveling abroad.
Kuwaiti passport holders only need to plan their itinerary and pack their bags to visit any of the countries mentioned above.
 
Some countries may require Kuwaiti nationals to provide documentary evidence when crossing the border.
