Visa Guide

To begin:

To apply for an e-Visa for Suriname , first

  1.  Clicking on the “Login” button, which can be found in the menu on the right side of the screen.
  2. If you haven’t registered yet, please register yourself first. After registering, proceed to log in to the panel.
  3. Once you are logged in, navigate to the menu on the left side of the panel.
  4. Select the “Visa Application Form” option from the menu.
  5. Fill out this form with the required information.
  6. Finally, submit the completed form.

Application:

When filling out the form, you will be asked to provide basic personal information, such as your passport number and date of birth.This is why we recommend that you bring your passport with you.

Payment:
At the end of the form, you will be asked to pay the e-Visa application fees.
You can use a credit or debit card or choose from the other secure online payment methods we offer.
 
Confirmation, processing and approval:
Immediately after submitting your application, a confirmation email will be sent to your inbox.
It will take up to 3 business days (72 hours) to process your request.
 
Once approved, your e-Visa will be sent in PDF format directly to your email address.
Print the received document and take it with you on the trip.

The Suriname e-Visa is valid for 90 days only.

Visa fees are as follows:

  1. Tourist Card Fee: $40 USD
  2. Service Fee: $14 USD

As applications are made through the VFS website, you are also subject to a service fee. Visa fees are non-refundable.

Required documents for e-Visa

When you apply for an e-Visa to Suriname, make sure you have the necessary documents:

  1. your ID card. A minimum of six months must pass from the day you intend to arrive in Suriname for the passport to be valid. At least one blank page must be included in the passport.
  2. biography page of a passport. A photocopy of your passport's bio page must be uploaded.
  3. only one picture. You need to upload a photo of yourself. Image size: 3 x 4 cm.
  4. return flight ticket. A duplicate of the return ticket for the flight is required. The round-trip portion of the ticket must be for no more than 90 days.
  5. Itinerary for travel. A schedule of the activities you have planned for your trip to Suriname must be submitted.
  6. information on lodging. We will confirm the address you will be staying at while in Suriname.
  7. adequate financial resources. Once in Suriname, you must demonstrate that you have the resources to support yourself.

You might need to submit further supporting material. For instance, a birth certificate for the applicant must be provided if the application is being submitted on their behalf. If additional documentation is required, it must be submitted within 30 days.
