The Qatar e-Visa is an online visa that can be easily obtained electronically for all eligible travelers after completing a quick and intuitive online application process.
The electronic visa system was introduced in Qatar in 2017 to facilitate visa processing for foreign visitors.

The only exception is the online transit visa, which is valid for 4 days (96 hours).
Potential visitors from the Middle East can apply for four types of Qatar e-visas, depending on their nationality or purpose of visit.

- Tourist visa via Qatar Airways or hotel. This visa is issued to sponsor citizens or residents connected to the applicant through authorized hotels in Qatar.
- Joint Tourist Visa – for visiting Qatar and Oman. This visa allows you to travel freely between Qatar and Oman.
- Business visa. This visa is issued to foreign nationals for short-term commercial activities.
- Transit visa. This visa is issued to foreign nationals who will make a stopover en route to their final destination.
After completing the Qatar visa requirements online (see Required Documents section), each applicant who has prepared the necessary documents can begin the application process.
To ensure your entry into Qatar goes smoothly, make sure you have entered all your data correctly and that your documents are valid.

- If you haven’t registered yet, please register yourself first. After registering, proceed to log in to the panel.
- Once you are logged in, navigate to the menu on the left side of the panel.
- Select the “Visa Application Form” option from the menu.
- Fill out this form with the required information.
- Finally, submit the completed form.
Remember that your passport must be valid for at least six months from your intended date of entry into Qatar.

Online Tourist Visa, GCC Permanent Residence Visa and ETA are valid for 30 days from the date of arrival in Qatar.

Required documents for e-Visa
When applying for Qatar e-Visa online, you will need the following documents:
- Passport. It must be valid for at least six months from the date of your arrival in the country.
- A picture. You must include a photo of yourself. The photo must be passport size.
- Return plane ticket. You must provide proof of a round-trip airline ticket to your home country.
- Proof of accommodation. If you are staying in a hotel, provide a copy of the hotel reservation. The booking date must coincide with the date you will travel.
If you are staying with a Qatar resident, you must provide:
- Proof of invitation letter, copy of residence visa, Qatar ID card and their passport information page.
If you are staying with a Qatari national, you must provide:
- Copy of their ID card and invitation letter.

- Applicants passports have to be valid for at least 6 months forth from the arrival date
- With an e-Visa, each traveler can spend 30 days in Qatar
- Two of the travel visas (ETA and GCC Residents Visa) holders can prolong their stay. ETA holders for another 30 days, GCC Residents for another 90 days (three months)
- The electronic Qatar visa has to be printed out and taken to the airport (no matter the type)
- The online Qatar visa can be used for tourism purposes only
- A travel e-Visa is not a working permit, nor an immigration permit
- Applicants can use any international airport to visit Qatar
