Cambodia e-Visa: Basic information

Cambodia e-visa is an online visa, launched in 2006 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, to simplify the tourist visa application process for all qualified tourists .
Citizens of eligible countries can apply for an official Cambodia tourist visa entirely online.
Cambodia e-visa is a single-entry visa that allows staying in the country for 30 days and is valid for 90 days from the date of issue.
Visitors wishing to apply must fill out the Cambodia e-visa application form and pay online using their preferred method.
The approved e-visa will be sent to the applicant's email address within 3 working days.
The application fee is 99 euros.
Cambodia currently offers one type of electronic visa:a single-entry visa for a 30-day stay.
 
Visitors can only use the Cambodia e-visa for tourism or transit purposes.

  • engage in all non-work activities, such as going on vacation,

Applying for a Cambodia e-Visa can be done by following simple steps.The entire process can be done online, using this website.Processing can take a few days; however, the average approval time for the Cambodia online visa is much more shorter.

First,  clicking on the “Login” button, which can be found in the menu on the right side of the screen.If you haven’t registered yet, please register yourself first. After registering, proceed to log in to the panel.Once you are logged in, navigate to the menu on the left side of the panel.Select the “Visa Application Form” option from the menu.

Then follow these steps:

  1. Complete the form:provide personal and basic travel information, including approximate arrival date and desired entry point.Double check that everything is correct and move on to the next step.
  2. Upload a photo of your passport’s biodata page and a photo of the applicant’s face.
    You can use your phone or PC camera to take the necessary photos.
  3. Pay the 99 euro fee for the Cambodia e-Visa:Use any online payment method of your choice and submit your applicati

It is extremely important for every e-visa applicant to know that not all airports and ports in Cambodia support e-visas.

  • Sihanouk International Airport

Border crossing points:

  • Cham Yeam (Koh Kong Province) when entering from Thailand
  • Poi Pet (Banteay Meanchey Province) when entering from Thailand
  • Bavet (Svay Rieng Province) when entering from Vietnam
  • Tropaeng Kreal Border Post (Stung Treang) when entering from Laos

Additionally, please note that no seaports currently accept electronic visas

Otherwise, you may be charged $10 per day of extended stay.

Important Information

  • If you wish to work or conduct business activities in Cambodia, please contact the nearest Cambodian embassy to apply for a regular visa.
  • The applicant's passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the intended date of entry into Cambodia
  • Expiration or updating of data in the applicant's passport results in the e-visa being no longer valid.
  • In such cases, the applicant must submit a new application
  • Cambodia e-visa processing time can take several days; however, the average approval time is only 18 hours.
  • e-visa extension can only be done upon arrival with the support of the Cambodian government and immigration authorities
  • All tourists entering Cambodia with a valid e-Visa are guaranteed a maximum stay of 30 days.
  • This means that if you enter the country at the end of your online visa validity period, you can still stay there for up to 30 days.
  • Travelers must use one of the entry points that allow electronic entry
  • Currently, no Cambodian seaport accepts electronic visas
