Bahrain e-Visa: Basic information
The Bahrain eVisa is an electronic visa introduced by the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain in 2014 to allow citizens of eligible countries to visit the country for tourism and business purposes.
Bahrain eVisa is available as single and multiple entry online visas and allows stays from 14 to 90 days depending on type.
The eVisa is electronically linked to the applicant's passport, so visitors no longer need to go to the Bahrain embassy to apply for a regular visa.
The cost of eVisa Bahrain depends on the type of entry chosen:
69 euros for a 14-day stay
109 euros for a 30-day stay with the possibility of multiple entries
249 euros for multiple entry, allowing a stay of 90 days, valid for one year from the date of issuance of the document.

There are three types of eVisa for the Kingdom of Bahrain.
All three types can be used for both tourism and commercial purposes.
eVisa single entry:
allows its holder to stay in Bahrain for up to 14 days.
To enter the country, apply for a new entry permit.

Once entered, the validity of your e-visa lasts for 3 months (90 days) and during this period you can enter and exit the Kingdom of Bahrain as many times as you like.

This type of visa permit allows multiple entries.
Each stay can last up to 90 days.
Visas are valid for one year from entry into Bahrain.
Its holder must enter Bahrain within 90 days from the date of issue.

- Select the “Visa Application Form” option from the menu.
- Finally, submit the completed form.
- Fill out the application form. Next, you’ll be asked to fill out the application form with some basic personal and travel details.

The validity period varies depending on the type of entry permit you have chosen:
- Single-entry eVisa – you can stay in Bahrain for up to 14 days.Once you leave, you cannot re-enter without a new visa online.This type of entry permit is valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
- eVisa multiple entry (1) – remains valid for 90 days from the first entry.You can come in and out as often as you like, staying up to a month (30 days) at a time.
- eVisa multiple entry (2) – expires one year from the first entry.Multiple visits to Bahrain are allowed, each stay can be for up to 3 months at a time.
All three types of Bahrain e-visas require you to cross the country’s borders within 30 days of receiving your entry permit.
You may be wondering whether you need an online visa just to travel through Bahrain before going elsewhere.
The answer is yes!
If you are from a country other than Oman, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait or the United Arab Emirates, you will need a Bahrain e-Visa to enter the country, even if just to board the plane fly to another country.

A: Citizens of ineligible countries must apply for a standard visa at their nearest Bahrain Embassy.

- Biographical data page of your valid passport, in electronic form (digital photo)
- a photo of the return ticket
- Accommodation details. You must provide proof of accommodation
- Financial sources.You must provide evidence that you can support yourself and your dependents during your stay in Bahrain.This may be in the form of bank statement.
- Yellow fever vaccination records.You should only submit it if you are from a high-risk country

Do I Have to Print Out the Bahrain e-Visa When I Travel?
Yes, that's right.
You should print the approval you receive in your email address.
However, this is not necessary.
When you arrive in Bahrain, border control officers will have access to your e-visa.
How Much Does the Bahrain e-Visa Cost?
When applying for a Bahrain e-Visa, in addition to the visa fee, you must pay an application fee.

You can request a further two-week extension by visiting the NPRA (Citizenship, Passport and Residence) in Bahrain.
Is the Bahrain e-Visa Multiple Entry?

Bahrain multiple entry visa allows you to enter the country multiple times within its validity period.
Can I Work in Bahrain with An e-Visa?
No you can not.
You are not allowed to work or volunteer (including with NGOs) while in Bahrain on an e-Visa.
You should also not take unpaid jobs.
Electronic visa holders in Bahrain are not allowed to do any of the above.
If you want to work in the country, you must apply for the corresponding visa.
Can I Get a Refund if My e-Visa to Bahrain Is Not Approved?
Yes.The application fee will be refunded but the processing fee will not be refunded.
Do I Need to Obtain a Separate e-Visa for Persons Accompanying Me on My Trip to Bahrain?
If you want to bring dependents with you, you do not need to apply for an electronic visa.
Instead, you should go to Bahrain and apply for a visa on arrival.Your dependents will be included in this visa at no additional cost.

Important Information
- The type of Bahrain eVisa you choose will determine the validity period.
- All eVisa applicants must be outside Bahrain when applying!
- You cannot extend your stay by reapplying from within the country.
- Additionally, Bahrain's eVisa requirements state that only one entry permit is allowed at a time.
- If you want to reapply, your current Bahrain e-Visa must expire.
- If your passport expires or your passport information changes, you must apply for a new Bahrain e-Visa.
- Your eVisa does not authorize travel to Bahrain for the purpose of taking up employment in the Kingdom.
