Visa Requirements for Pakistani Citizens

Visa requirements for Pakistani citizens are regulated by foreign rules and conditions that Pakistani citizens must follow while traveling abroad.
Entry requirements are important to meet and determine whether you are allowed to cross the border with one of the selected countries.

Unfortunately, currently, Pakistani citizens do not have much freedom of movement.
There are only 32 destinations that allow Pakistanis to enter without a visa or apply for a visa on arrival. These statistics place the Pakistani passport very low in the overall freedom of movement rankings. As with visa requirements, the length of stay allowed varies and depends on the chosen destination and immigration regulations.
When it comes to e-visas and visas on arrival, Pakistani citizens are allowed to stay for 14, 30, 90 or 180 days (and others). Traditional visas have a more complex system and the average length of stay cannot be easily estimated.
As mentioned, Pakistanis can choose between using an electronic travel authorization system, for which visas can be obtained upon arrival, and traditional visas processed at the embassy.
All of these travel permits are issued for recreational, occupational and transit-related uses.
Electronic visas and VoA are documents used for short-term stays, usually up to 6 months or less at a time.
Rather, embassy visas can be issued for short-term or long-term visits.
In addition to basic leisure travel, a traditional travel permit allows you to study, work and live abroad for longer periods of time. This makes applying for an embassy visa a bit more complicated and time-consuming than an e-visa or visa on arrival.

Electronic visa

Electronic visas work just like traditional visas but are much easier to get.
Electronic systems were introduced to make travel more accessible. Pakistani citizens can now apply for visas online without having to visit the embassy.
An approved eVisa allows you to undertake a vacation, a business project abroad or a short transit trip.

Please note!
VoA also requires travelers to meet certain requirements and confirm the purpose of their trip by providing specific supporting documents and, in some cases, proof that they have enough money to cover expenses.Accommodation fees.
Check current conditions to be respected before traveling. Additionally, it’s worth noting that many countries that offer VoA also offer the additional option of obtaining an eVisa before your planned trip.
