Turkey e-Visa Application

Turkey e-Visa: Basic information

The Turkish e-visa is an electronic visa, introduced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey on April 17, 2013, that allows foreign citizens to apply for a visa online without the need to visit a representative. Turkish embassy/consulate.
Eligible travelers can apply for a Turkey visa online with only a valid passport, access to any online payment method, and a digital photo of the applicant's face.
Completing the registration process takes just a few minutes and can be done entirely at home.
Turkish e-visa is available as a single-entry visa - for a stay of 30 days and a multiple-entry visa - for a stay of 90 days.
Both types are valid for 90 days from the date of issue.
Türkiye e-visa processing time can take up to 3 business days or less, with an average of just 19 hours! Visitors must enter Türkiye within one month from the date of issuance of the e-visa and no later than 90 days after the date of issuance.
There are two types of e-Visa for Türkiye that can be distinguished.
The nationality of the applicant determines which categories they qualify for. This is a:
  • single-entry permit for a 30-day stay
  • multiple-entry permit for a 90-day stay
Regardless of your nationality, Türkiye visa online is issued for tourist or business purposes only.
All other reasons for travel (including working for a Turkish company) require a traditional embassy visa.

Another common feature of all e-visas is the requirement that each applicant must have a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in Turkey.
Be sure to apply at least 3 days before your trip to receive the necessary entry permits on time.

Follow these simple steps to complete the process:
  1. Begin by clicking on the “Login” button, which can be found in the menu on the right side of the screen.
  2. If you haven’t registered yet, please register yourself first.
  3. After registering, proceed to log in to the panel.
  4. Once you are logged in, navigate to the menu on the left side of the panel.
  5. Select the “Visa Application Form” option from the menu.
  6. Fill out this form with the required information.
  7. Finally, submit the completed form.
Once your application is submitted, our team of Turkey e-Visa experts will review the application to ensure that the information contained therein is complete and accurate and that the correct documents have been submitted.
Attached. The entire application review and approval process takes up to three business days; The average wait time is 19 hours.
Your approved online Turkey visa will be sent to the email address provided in your application.
Please print the entry permit you received and present it when requested by the relevant authorities upon arrival.

*Final decisions and processing times are at the discretion of the government of Turkey.

An e-visa is not required for visitors to Türkiye solely for transit to another destination.
As long as you do not intend to leave the transit area in a Turkish airport while waiting for a connecting flight, a passport is the only travel document required.

Please note that travelers wishing to leave the airport transit area must apply for an e-visa in advance and bring this document with them when entering Turkey.
For more information on how to apply for this entry permit, see “Turkey e-visa application form” above.

All online visa holders to Türkiye must carry two documents upon entry:

  • a valid passport
  • a printed copy of the approved e-Visa

You will be asked to present each document to Turkish customs officials, who will check them before welcoming you into the country.

Although the Turkish e-visa system may seem complicated, the Turkish e-visa example below gives each applicant a transparent view of what their entry permit will look like!
