New Zealand's eTA is an electronic travel authorization system implemented in July 2019. It allows eligible travelers to obtain their New Zealand eVisa completely online within days of their intended trip. their determination.

  • Once you’ve completed the form, be sure to double-check the information provided to avoid delays or approval issues.
  • Then pay your New Zealand visa application fee online using any of your preferred online payment methods.
  • Wait for the approved New Zealand e-visa to be sent to your email address.
  • Processing time may take up to 3 business days (72 hours).

The applicant’s passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the schedule

The NZeTA is a two-year multiple-entry visa. Within a 180-day window, you are permitted to stay in New Zealand for 90 days. However, British nationals are permitted to stay for six months throughout any 12-month period. On NZeTA, start and end dates are specified.
Transit through New Zealand also requires an NZeTA.

What are the eligibility requirements for NZeTA?

To get an NZeTA, you must meet the eligibility requirements listed:
  • You must be in good health.
  • You must have good morals.
  • You must be a citizen of a visa-exempt country if you are traveling to New Zealand by air.
  • You can be of any nationality if you come to New Zealand on a cruise ship.

Who doesn't need NZeTA?

You do not need to register with NZeTA if you are New Zealand citizens traveling with:
  • New Zealand passport
  • Foreign passports are authenticated by New Zealand citizens
  • An Australian citizen traveling on an Australian passport
  • Holder of a valid New Zealand visa
  • Be a member of or affiliated with a scientific program or expedition of a signatory to the Antarctic Treaty

Enter New Zealand using NZeTA

To travel to New Zealand, you need a passport and NZeTA approval.
To enter the New Zealand border, you must have:
Passport or travel document.
  • Your passport will expire three months (six months if you are from the UK) after you plan to leave New Zealand.
Passenger arrival card.
  • You will receive a passenger card upon boarding before arriving at your destination.
  • You must complete it before arriving at passport control, where you will present it to immigration officials.
  • If you arrive and depart by cruise ship, you can stay up to 28 days.

Tickets outside New Zealand.
  • You must have a travel document to leave New Zealand and enter a country to which you are authorized to enter as evidence that you will leave New Zealand at the end of your stay.
  • If you are traveling on a private boat or cruise ship, you can provide a letter from the ship owner or the cruise itinerary as proof.
  • Have enough financial means to fund your vacation.
  • You can submit a bank statement to demonstrate that you have enough money to cover your living expenses during your time in New Zealand.
  • You must have at least NZD 1,000 for each month of stay or if you have paid for accommodation, NZD 400 for each month of stay.
