Kazakhstan e-Visa: Basic information
If you are eligible to apply for a visa online to travel to Kazakhstan, be sure to check which e-visas are available:
- a single visa: allows a 90-day stay in the country and can be used for any travel-related purpose.
- a multiple-entry visa:allows for many visits to Kazakhstan and is the perfect place to explore the mountains.Each stay can last up to 90 days (three months).
- a transit visa:5-dayvisit is allowed and can only be used for transit purposes through Kazakhstan.
The first step to submitting a positively approved application is preparing the required documents. Make sure that you have the applicant’s face photo and your valid passport. Begin by clicking on the “Login” button, which can be found in the menu on the right side of the screen.If you haven’t registered yet, please register yourself first. After registering, proceed to log in to the panel.Once you are logged in, navigate to the menu on the left side of the panel.Select the “Visa Application Form” option from the menu.
Follow these steps to complete the application process quickly:
- Fill the online form: Provide your data carefully in the application form. Provide your full name, nationality, date of birth, email address and passport details. Double check that everything is correct and move on to the next step.
- Cover the Kazakhstan eVisa fees: right after completing the application form, choose the preferred online payment method to cover the fees. Once your payment is registered, you will receive a confirmation number.
- Check your email box for the approved PDF version of the eVisa:Withina maximum of 72 hours (3 working days), the entry permit will be issued to the applicant’s inbox.
The validity period of the eVisa Kazakhstan varies depending on the type selected:
- single-entry permit for tourism purposes stays valid for 2 months from the issuing date
- multiple-entry eVisa expires after 3 months
- transit eVisa stays valid for 5 days
Customs officers upon arrival in Kazakhstan will check that you have the following information:
- a printed eVisa copy
- a passport with a minimum validity of 6 months starting from the date of arrival

Required documents for e-Visa
- a photo of the bio-data page of the applicant's passport
- the applicant's face photo (that can be taken using a phone or a PC camera)
If you plan to apply for a Transit eVisa, please attach a letter explaining the reason for your trip.
Important Information
- Kazakhstan eVisa is not a work permit; Please do not take on paid work while traveling
- The eVisa can be extended with immigration authorities
- Each applicant must have a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel
- Electronic visas are only accepted at selected border crossings
