Indonesia e-Visa Application

Indonesia e-Visa: Basic information

The Indonesia e-Visa is an electronic visa introduced by the Indonesian government in October 2020.
The launch of this visa is intended to facilitate the visa application process and eliminate the need to travel in person diplomatic missions.
Indonesian e-visas are currently issued to tourists and business people from countries whose governments have agreed on travel corridors with Indonesia.
Indonesian e-visas are also issued to investors, civil servants and skilled workers.
Currently, Indonesian authorities require foreign visitors to have a local sponsor granting them permission to enter Indonesia or Bali.
Qualified candidates can use our agency to apply for an Indonesia visa completely online.
When applying with Evisa Express, you simply fill out a short online form and submit your application online within minutes.
It is also necessary to upload some additional documents and pay a visa processing fee.
The approved e-Visa will then be sent directly to your email address provided in the application form.
Remember to apply for an e-visa at least 10 working days before your planned trip or as soon as you have all the necessary travel details for the visa application.

Indonesia e-visa is currently issued as a single-entry visa for the following purposes:

  • tourism: visit Indonesia to participate in all entertainment related activities such as sightseeing, vacation, family or friends reunion.
  • business: visiting Indonesia for various business activities, for example contract negotiations, business meetings, conferences, searching for potential business partners, excluding employment purposes.

Indonesian e-visa holders are only allowed to enter the country once and stay for a maximum of 60 days within the entire 3-month validity period.

Travelers planning to visit Indonesia or Bali for purposes not covered by an Indonesian e-visa, including long-term employment, should contact the nearest Indonesian diplomatic mission to apply for the appropriate visa or permit.
