ETIAS Visa Waiver for Europe

ETIAS - European Travel Information and Authorization System

ETIAS is an electronic visa that serves as a multiple-entry travel permit allowing the visa holder to travel to any of the 26 Schengen Area countries.

ETIAS is the European Travel Information and Authorization System expected to be launched at the end of 2022 to help tourists from third countries obtain travel authorization online.

60 non-EU countries will now have to apply for ETIAS before traveling to a Schengen area country.

The approved ETIAS is valid for three years and allows its holder to visit Schengen area countries multiple times.
Additionally, each stay with ETIAS can last up to three months and can involve a variety of reasons, including travel, business, transportation and medical treatment.
Because ETIAS is not a regular visa, travelers do not need to go to an embassy or consulate to get a visa.

Instead, they simply need to fill out the online application form providing the necessary personal information, pay online, and wait for their approved eVisa ETIAS to arrive in their email address!
There is only one type of ETIAS for registration and it can be used for a variety of purposes.
ETIAS is valid for 3 years or until your travel document expires, whichever comes first.
Additionally, the European Travel Permit allows travelers to visit the Schengen area an unlimited number of times.
Each stay can last up to 90 days (three months).

ETIAS can be used for the following purposes:

  • tourism:visit your European friends and family, go on vacation, go sightseeing, explore tourist attractions, take a trip to Europe
  • business:manage all business affairs, negotiate future contracts or cooperation, and travel on business
  • transit:to reach your final destination through one of the Schengen area countries
  • medical treatment:undergo medical treatment in Europe

Please note! Even though ETIAS allows performing business activities, it does not serve as a working permit.

Since many countries must submit an ETIAS application before arriving in the European Union, the electronic system must be as simple as possible.

Luckily, applying online only takes a few minutes, and most applications are approved within minutes as well.
You can use your phone or any other device and fill out forms online from anywhere!
Begin by clicking on the “Login” button, which can be found in the menu on the right side of the screen.
If you haven’t registered yet, please register yourself first. After registering, proceed to log in to the panel.
Once you are logged in, navigate to the menu on the left side of the panel.

The ETIAS travel permit is valid for 3 years from the date of issue or until your travel document expires.

As these two documents are linked, make sure you have a valid passport before applying for an ETIAS authorization.
Citizens of all countries that can enter the European Union without a visa must apply for an ETIAS visa exemption, even if it is only for transit purposes.

If you are traveling through one of the EU countries to reach your final destination and your nationality is outside the EU, you must first have an ETIAS.
If you have an approved ETIAS permit, you only need to bring your valid passport or other travel document used for registration upon arrival.

ETIAS establishes an electronic link to your travel documents.
If you want, you can print a copy of your travel permit and take it with you when you travel.

The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has forced most European countries to impose additional travel requirements. One of these requirements is the filling out of passenger locator forms, which are health declarations completed by incoming travelers when traveling abroad.

The PLF acts as a security measure for the visiting country, providing essential health information and details about the traveler’s stay. They help mitigate the spread of Covid-19 cases and keep tourists and residents safe.

Citizens of all non-EU countries can enter without a visa.
However, third countries need an ETIAS travel permit to visit countries located in the Schengen area.
Luckily, ETIAS operates entirely electronically and is one of the easiest licenses to obtain.
Children visiting Europe without a visa from third countries also need an ETIAS visa.
Applications must be submitted by their parents or guardians.
Minor travelers (under 18 years old) are exempt from ETIAS fees but must have a separate permit.

Only EU countries can enter Europe without an ETIAS travel permit. To enter the Schengen Area from outside the European Union, travelers must apply for an ETIAS.

The only document required to apply for ETIAS is a valid passport. Provide your passport information when checking in online and check that your travel documents are still valid throughout your trip. All applicants must also prepare a facial photo that can be taken with a phone or PC camera as our team of experts will adjust the size of the file received.
