The Egyptian e-visa is an electronic entry visa issued by the Egyptian government that allows citizens of eligible countries to apply for visas online for tourism and business purposes.
The Egyptian e-visa was launched in 2017 to make it easier for tourists to visit Egypt using an online visa application system.
Electronic visas eliminate the need for costly and lengthy procedures previously associated with embassy visas.
The online application process involves three simple steps and can be completed in minutes at home.
The applicant must fill out the application form promptly, pay the e-visa fee and wait to receive the approved documents.
Once processed, the Egypt e-Visa will be sent to the applicant's inbox as a PDF file that can be printed later.
There are two types of Egyptian e-visas: single-entry visa and multiple-entry visa.
