The Azerbaijan e-Visa is a single-entry electronic visa introduced in January 2017 under a system called ASAN Visa to allow all eligible visitors to stay for a short period of time in Azerbaijan.The online visa for Azerbaijan is valid for 90 days (three months) and allows you to reside in the country for 30 days.
The Government of Azerbaijan has introduced the ASAN visa system to facilitate visa processing and expedite border control upon arrival.
This means that for citizens of eligible countries, there is no longer any need to go to the Azerbaijan embassy to apply for a visa.
With a valid passport, internet connection and access to any online payment method, qualified travelers will soon be approved.
Applicants should take a few minutes to complete the online application form, pay the 69 Euro issuance fee and check their inbox for the approved Azerbaijan e-visa.

The Azerbaijan e-visa is valid for 90 days from the date you receive it.

To begin:
To apply for an e-Visa for Azerbaijan, first
- Clicking on the “Login” button, which can be found in the menu on the right side of the screen.
- If you haven’t registered yet, please register yourself first. After registering, proceed to log in to the panel.
- Once you are logged in, navigate to the menu on the left side of the panel.
- Select the “Visa Application Form” option from the menu.
- Fill out this form with the required information.
- Finally, submit the completed form.
Application:
When filling out the form, you will be asked to provide basic personal information, such as your passport number and date of birth.This is why we recommend that you bring your passport with you.
Payment:
At the end of the form, you will be asked to pay the e-Visa application fee of 69 euros.
You can use a credit or debit card or choose from the other secure online payment methods we offer.
Confirmation, processing and approval:
Immediately after submitting your application, a confirmation email will be sent to your inbox.
It will take up to 3 business days (72 hours) to process your request.
The final deadline of the examination period is entirely at the discretion of the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Once approved, your e-Visa will be sent in PDF format directly to your email address.
Print the received document and take it with you on the trip.
Please note!
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your intended date of arrival in Azerbaijan.
The Azerbaijan e-visa remains valid for 90 days (three months) from the date of approval.
During this period, you can enter Azerbaijan once and stay there for a maximum of 30 days.
You can find the expiration date on the PDF version emailed to you after your application is processed.
Azerbaijan allows visa-free transit for travelers who meet the following conditions:
- have a valid passport
- got a ticket for the rest
- There are no plans to leave the transit area at the airport
If all three conditions above apply to you, you do not need to obtain an online visa for transit purposes.
Otherwise, remember to apply for an Azerbaijan e-visa at least 3 days before your trip.
Once your e-Visa is issued, you are almost ready to enter Azerbaijan.
It is important that you print out your entry permit and bring it with you when entering the country.
The customs officer will ask to see it.
It is also important that you have a valid passport.
Without these two documents in physical form, you will be denied entry.

Required documents for e-Visa
The only document you need to apply for an Azerbaijan visa online is a valid passport.
During the registration process, we will ask you to upload a digital photo of your passport data page.
Important Information
- You must apply for an e-Visa from outside Azerbaijan.
- You cannot apply from within the country.
- You cannot extend your e-Visa.
- However, holders of electronic entry permits are allowed to extend their stay for another 10 days.
- Each person wishing to apply for an e-Visa must complete a separate application.
- It is not possible to apply for an entry permit more than once using the same application form.
- Don't go to Azerbaijan without an e-Visa in printed form!
- You must present a physical copy of the document to the customs officer along with your passport.
- Travelers just transiting through Azerbaijan are not required to obtain an online visa.
- However, they must meet the three requirements outlined in the “Transit Information” section.
- Electronic visas do not allow citizens of any country to work for pay.
- If you want to work in Azerbaijan, you must obtain an appropriate work permit from the embassy.
